Spray Park

There are plenty of alpine meadows around here, but my favourite is Spray Park on the western flank of Mt Rainier. At 7000 ft, summer was slow to arrive this year, but things were just about perfect in late July (except for a parking lot so full you have to park half a mile away and walk up to the trailhead).

Also, there are bonus attractions for those who like waterfalls.

Mt.Rainer is in Washington, right? I used to live pretty close to Washington and like to do hikes and climbing mountaints. I definitely should have checked it out. I like Yellowstone national park the best. It provides different sceneries, some of which reminded me of the Sarengati. It also has great camping and hotsprings. You can pretty much enjoy the park all year round. Except for in the dead of winter of course, when the snow is just unbelievable.
